True to Wounded Moose form, we celebrate the holidays with a fantastic video featuring Ox, Younks, JvT and Russ!  This was an epic shoot, that lasted 2 weeks, but we are really thrilled in how it came out!

The Wounded Moose front office would like to wish all Wounded Moose and their family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

At times like this, it is important to remember those that have touched our soul in a special way.  Take Steve Jobs, probably best known for unveiling the iPad with an image he took with it.  Look closely, and it is our very own Vez, getting a Roman Helmet from Jobs himself!  Such a proud moment for us all!

Shittsburgh Co-Captains to be featured in new BLACKBERRY commercial!

Oh yes, it is true gents.  Say you have been awarded the honour of being a Co-Captain for the Wounded Moose Shittsburgh Tourney, and you have just gained a TON OF RESPONSIBILITY!  Not just in planning, but in coordinating the safety and well being of the Wounded Moose along with ensuring that the team is not let down when it comes to such things as the proper diet and nutrition, lodging and shelter, and transportation and communication.

What do you do?  Well if you are 25 and 16, you turn to the professionals at Blackberry and put your trust in them to make things HAPPEN!

Here is part of an interview that THEWOUNDEDMOOSE.COM had with the Co-Captains 25 and 16 about their choice of Blackberry for the Shittsburgh Tourney.

TWM: First off, congratulations on being named the tourney Co-Captains for Shittsburgh, that must of been a great honour?

16: Definitely.  I mean it was kind of expected and all.  Look, you don't wear mirrored visors and not get respect.

TWM: Talk to us about how the planning is going, are things on track?

25: At first we were overwhelmed to be quite honest.  How do you undertake such a huge task and not get a bit intimidated?  So we asked ourselves, 16, 25, who do we trust with our lives to make sure we have the success needed like when Derrick Zoolander pulled off Blue Steel?

16: Duh 25, that was easy, RIM! Anyone BOLD enough to call themselves RIM and not be in the sex toys business, has to be know their sh-t!  So we called up Jim and Mike [editors note: Jim and Mike are no longer Co-CEO's, and the boys are in touch with Thorsten Heins, the new CEO] and said "You guys are Co-CEO's and are successful, help!"

TWM:  So what did they say?

25: They empowered us with the TOOLS we needed for success.  Did they give us iCrap to play Angry Birds on? NOOOOOO!  Did they give us a convoluted mish mash of Android to see windshield wipers on the home screen when it rains? NOOOOOO!  They gave us BLACKBERRY BOLDS!!!

TWM: So I know we are short for time, but what will that do?

16: One word, BBM yo!  Join the Wounded Moose BBM Group where you can find out the latest news and happenings.  Where important game info is broadcast, and if you need someone to take one for the team, you can put in your request to a fellow Moose.  Really, it schedules, it communicates, it allows you to be the social creature you are.

TWM: Any last words?

Shittsburgh Tourney 2012 Debut's New Goalie?

Enquiring minds want to know, is JVT going to see the pine in Shittsburgh?  This spy photo taken last week and sent in anonymously, shows a new BLAKBAK prospect between the pipes training hard to take the spot.....

Moose toques have finally hit retail stores, just in time for the post-holiday rush! As you can see kids love them, they keep old people warm, and they may become bra cups for some lucky young woman pole dancing in Pittsburgh.

Speaking of horsin' around, sale of the toques will go towards the bus fund for Shitsburgh 2012. Prices range from $10-20 and can be purchased through the great folks at Impact Machine, including team equipment manager Calvin. He will be joining us on the trip if only he can get off the Sailor Jerry's.
